Universal LCD Controller Board solutions. Convert HDMI/VGA signals to LVDS, EDP, or MIPI. Custom firmware support for industrial display panels.
Seven-inch TFT LCD modules are common in industrial HMI, medical equipment, vehicle terminals, smart control panels and portable instruments. Select by native resolution, interface, active area, brightness, touch stack, temperature range and host compatibility—not diagonal size alone.
| Configuration | Typical resolution | Interface | Typical fit |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard embedded TFT | 800×480 | RGB/TTL or LVDS | Industrial HMI, equipment controls and replacement projects |
| Higher-resolution landscape | 1024×600 or 1280×800 | LVDS or eDP, model dependent | Detailed UI, medical and automation terminals |
| Portrait display | 800×1280 or model-specific | MIPI DSI | Handheld terminals and portrait control panels |
| Touch/controller kit | Panel-native timing | PCAP USB/I²C plus HDMI/DP controller | PC, Raspberry Pi and rapid HMI integration |
These are common starting points rather than universal specifications. Confirm the exact outline, active area, pin definition, connector position, brightness, temperature and availability from the selected model datasheet.
A raw LCD module is appropriate when the embedded host supports its native interface and timing. A touch assembly adds the sensor, controller, cover lens and optional bonding. An HDMI or DisplayPort controller kit is simpler for PCs and development boards but adds board space, cabling, power and firmware dependencies.
For replacement projects, send the original model number, datasheet, connector drawing and host/controller information. Two seven-inch 800×480 panels may still differ in outline, pinout, signal mapping, FPC position, backlight circuit or viewing direction.

No. It is common, but 1024×600, 1280×800, 800×1280 and other formats are available. Verify the exact model.
Most raw modules cannot. A compatible controller must convert HDMI to LVDS, eDP, MIPI or RGB and provide the correct panel timing and backlight power.
Yes for suitable projects. Define the touch type, cover glass, bonding, controller interface, glove/water behavior, quantity and environment.
Not automatically. Compare outline, active area, connector, pinout, timing, voltage, backlight and viewing direction.
Provide resolution, interface, outline drawing, brightness, temperature, touch need, host system, sample quantity and annual quantity.
Send the model number or drawing, target resolution, host interface, touch and optical requirements, and quantity. We will identify suitable modules and any controller or customization gaps before quotation.
