VLARE CORE Controller Board for MSLA Resin 3D Printer Integration

VLARE CORE is a controller motherboard for custom, upgraded and service-replacement MSLA resin 3D printers. The public data lists VLARE CORE model, 120×85×18 mm outline, 60 g weight, 12/24V 5–15A power input through KF2EDGK-5.08 2-pin connection, 1 kHz 5V PWM output through XH2.54 2-pin, USB 2.0, WiFi module support and VlareSlicer workflow using .vlr and .osf formats. It also lists support for resistive touch screens at 3.5 and 4.3 inch, capacitive touch at 4.3, 5 and 7 inch, 2K through 8K monochrome LCD groups across several sizes, and large 4K/6K/7K/8K panel categories. This makes it a controller-selection item, not only a spare electronic board.

For LCDind customers, the main engineering question is whether the board, mono LCD, touch screen, UV light source and mechanical platform form a compatible printer system. MSLA printers are sensitive to exposure timing, LCD resolution, masking area, touch UI, cooling, power stability and firmware/slicer configuration. A motherboard upgrade can fail if the LCD panel, touch screen or UV driver is not matched. The RFQ should describe the printer size, target LCD, current controller, light engine, firmware status and expected slicing workflow.

The supported LCD list is broad, but broad support does not remove the need for model confirmation. A 10.1 inch 8K mono LCD, 8.9 inch 6K panel or 15.6 inch 4K display may require different cable, voltage, timing, mechanical support and optical mask. If a customer is building a custom printer, LCDind should review panel model, exposure area, Z-axis space, UV LED array, cooling and build-plate format. If the customer is repairing or upgrading an existing printer, send the old board label, LCD label, cable photos and touch-screen type.

The 12/24V 5–15A input range and PWM output need system-level electrical review. Confirm power supply capacity, UV LED driver requirements, grounding, fan load, emergency-stop design and enclosure wiring. The board outline is compact, but installation must allow connector access, airflow and safe cable routing. A resin printer environment can expose electronics to heat, UV leakage, resin vapor and service handling, so mounting and protection should be planned before production assembly.

Software workflow is also part of approval. VlareSlicer format support should be checked against the customer’s expected print files, UI language, machine profile, LCD resolution and exposure settings. Do not treat controller hardware as approved until the slicer workflow, touch UI and test print sequence have been verified with the intended LCD and resin process.

Compatibility Verification and Printer Build Scope

For VLARE CORE, the RFQ should separate controller compatibility from printer performance. A motherboard can support a class of LCDs, but print quality depends on the exact mono LCD, exposure settings, light uniformity, cooling, Z-axis mechanics, slicer profile and resin process. Before ordering, confirm whether the customer needs only the board, a board plus touch display, a controller plus monochrome LCD, or a complete electronics kit for a printer platform.

Prototype validation should include a real print workflow: firmware setup, VlareSlicer profile, file transfer, touch UI, LCD exposure test, UV PWM behavior, fan control and at least one representative print. If the project upgrades an existing printer, compare cable routing, mounting holes, light-engine compatibility and power wiring against the old controller. If the project is a new printer, document the target LCD size and resolution before selecting cables and brackets.

Because this product is a controller board, content and schema should not imply that it is a standalone printer or a guaranteed universal solution. The buyer should define printer architecture and acceptance tests. For a repair project, success may mean the existing printer boots, accepts files, exposes the LCD correctly and prints a known test model. For a new printer project, success may require exposure calibration, UI localization, production wiring and safety review.

Procurement should also define accessory scope. Touch screens, WiFi module, LCD cable, UV driver, power wiring and display panels may or may not be included in a specific quote. Q: Can I use my existing 12V power supply, or do I need 24V?
