UV Transmittance and Exposure Cycle

UV transmittance affects layer exposure time, but the result depends on panel design, wavelength, optical stack, resin and thermal conditions. Submit the target 405 nm light-engine data and cycle requirements for module evaluation.

Aliasing & Pixel Grid

Pixel Pitch and Image Accuracy

Resolution must be evaluated together with active area and pixel pitch. LCDind supplies 2K, 4K, 5K, 7K, 8K, 9K, 12K, 14K and 16K options for equipment ranging from compact replacement programs to large-format MSLA systems.

Thermal Management and Service Life

Masking-screen life depends on UV intensity, exposure cycle, cooling, resin leakage and operating temperature. Service-life targets are reviewed by model and application; fixed lifetime claims should not be used without defined test conditions.

From 2K Replacement Panels to 16K OEM Modules

Mono LCD Module Options for OEM Integration

Select the panel by active area, resolution, pixel pitch, interface bandwidth, FPC layout and optical requirements. Our engineering review can cover the open cell, cover glass, controller board and mechanical integration as one project.
1

UV Transmittance by Panel Design

Available monochrome panels include UV-transmittance options for 405 nm MSLA systems. Values vary by model and measurement condition, so the selected panel, polarizer, cover glass and light engine must be reviewed together.

2

2K to 16K Resolution Options

Current sourcing options extend from 1620x2560 replacement panels to 15120x6230 16K modules, with sizes from approximately 6.0 to 16.0 inches. Confirm active area and pixel pitch against the required build platform.

MIPI, LVDS and eDP Controller Review

High-resolution panels may use MIPI, LVDS or eDP and are not interchangeable by resolution alone. Send the mainboard model, pin definition, timing, FPC drawing and initialization requirements to review panel and controller compatibility.

OEM Integration Options for 3D Printer Manufacturers

Submit the target resolution, active area, glass outline, interface, light-engine wavelength, annual quantity and project stage. The available scope can include the following items after engineering confirmation:
microchip

Open-Cell Supply

Monochrome open-cell panels can be supplied without a conventional backlight for integration with the the customer UV light engine. Handling, polarizer protection and assembly conditions are confirmed for the selected model.

Cover Glass and Optical Stack

Tempered cover glass, protective films and optical-stack options can be evaluated for resin-leak protection and assembly durability. Glass hardness, thickness, adhesive and UV transmission remain model- and project-specific.

Custom FPC and Connector Routing

Where volume and tooling support the project, FPC length, bend direction, connector position and routing can be reviewed against the printer chassis and mainboard. Provide 2D drawings and the target annual quantity.

Controller and Initialization Support

Controller-board and initialization support is reviewed by panel interface, resolution, frame rate and mainboard architecture. Available deliverables may include interface confirmation, board options and integration guidance on a project basis.

Engineering FAQ

A monochrome masking panel removes the RGB color-filter requirement, allowing higher UV transmission and shorter exposure cycles under comparable optical conditions. The actual improvement depends on the panel, wavelength, resin, cooling and light uniformity.

Usually yes. Interface type, lane count, timing, bandwidth, initialization code and FPC pinout must match the panel. A shared resolution label does not guarantee electrical compatibility, so send the mainboard and panel information for review.

UV intensity, wavelength, exposure cycle, panel temperature, cooling, resin leakage and polarizer protection all affect service life. LCDind confirms available lifetime data by model and test condition rather than applying one fixed hour rating to every panel.
