Turn Your Comparison Into a Verified Display Match
A side-by-side table is only the first step. Share your application, interface, brightness, touch and quantity requirements so our team can review product fit, availability and customization options for your project.
No retail checkout. MOQ, samples, lead time and customization are confirmed according to the selected model and project requirements.
01
Compare what matters
Review size, resolution, interface and brightness first. Where published data is available, also verify touch structure, outline, viewing direction and operating conditions.
02
Need a custom variant?
Cover glass, touch, optical bonding, brightness, interface and mechanical changes are evaluated for the individual model and application.
03
Replacing an existing display?
Send the current model number, drawing and pinout. A replacement should only be selected after the electrical and mechanical fit is reviewed.
Obsolete LCD replacement
Original Display Discontinued? Build a Verified Replacement Path
A panel with the same diagonal size and resolution can still differ in outline dimensions, active area, connector position, pin assignment, voltage, timing, brightness, viewing direction, touch structure and operating temperature. Send the original model information so the replacement can be reviewed against the actual electrical, optical and mechanical requirements.
- Outline, active area and mounting
- Interface, connector and pin assignment
- Resolution, timing and supply voltage
- Brightness, viewing angle and temperature
- Touch panel, cover glass and bonding
- Availability, quantity and lifecycle needs
Important: matching size and resolution alone does not establish drop-in compatibility. Final selection requires datasheet, drawing and application review.
Request a Replacement Review
Have a drawing or target specification?
Attach it to the inquiry form together with the application and expected quantity. Selected product names are added to the project-requirements field when possible.
Comparison & Sourcing Questions
Can LCDind confirm a drop-in replacement?
Only after the drawing, dimensions, interface, pinout, timing, voltage, optical requirements and operating conditions have been checked. A matching screen size or resolution alone does not prove compatibility.
Can I request samples or a low-volume build?
Sample availability and MOQ depend on the selected display, customization scope and supply status. Include the prototype quantity and estimated annual volume in the inquiry.
What should I include for an accurate recommendation?
Provide the application, required size and resolution, interface, brightness, touch requirement, operating environment, mechanical drawing and expected quantity.
What if the original LCD model has been discontinued?
Send the complete model number and any available datasheet, drawing or photos. The review will first look for a technically suitable candidate, then identify whether an adapter, controller change, mechanical change or custom module is required.
Does the same size and resolution mean two LCDs are compatible?
No. Connector position, pin assignment, interface timing, supply voltage, outline dimensions, active area, optical performance, backlight and operating temperature may all differ.
Which specifications are checked during replacement review?
The review can include outline and active-area dimensions, mounting, interface, connector, pinout, voltage, timing, brightness, viewing direction, touch structure, cover glass, temperature range and lifecycle requirements.
Can an adapter board or custom cable solve a mismatch?
Sometimes, but only after the controller, interface, voltage, pin assignment and timing have been checked. Mechanical or optical differences may still require a different panel or a custom assembly.
What happens if there is no direct drop-in replacement?
LCDind can evaluate a close alternative and identify the engineering changes involved, or review a custom display, touch, cover-glass, bonding or controller solution for the project.
